My husband and I went to Kellyn 10 years ago and had her design and make our wedding bands. Our original rings consisted of my round solitaire from my engagement ring plus 14 princess cut diamonds for my band and 8 princess cut diamonds for my husband's band.
For our 10th wedding anniversary this year, we decided to redesign our rings. We took Kellyn our design and she helped us design using all of our original diamonds from our 2 bands plus some new diamonds to create a new wedding ring for me and then we purchased a basic wedding band for my husband. Just wanted to thank you for helping direct Kate to that fabulous bauble necklace I admired so long ago in your store. I love it. (It really meant a lot...as a single Mom, I sometimes "lose my voice" with my children and put my wants on the shelf, so they can have whatever they think the can't live without.) This Christmas, I realized it's been well over 10 years that I got a present I really wanted and--BONUS--I didn't buy it myself). I cried when she gave it to me because it was so heartfelt and special. It amde me realized we all love to give...that makes us feel good, but to graciously accept a gift sacrificially from our child--that is a gift within a gift.

A "Jewel" of a Sales Clerk

I was shopping in the downtown [Naperville]area today. When I returned to my car, I realized that the car battery was dead. While trying to think about what to do next (My husband was at a football game with my daughter), I started walking to see if I could find a full service gas station - Hah, no such luck. While walking, I saw your store. I asked if you were around, but you weren't. The person working today was soooo helpful. She looked for a phone book, but couldn't find one. She then went on-line to find a gas station for me. She then gave me the phone to call the station, all of this while attending to customers. During all of the drama, I forgot to find out her name. She was great. In the end, I was able to have the car towed to a full service station that wasn't too far and had a new battery installed.
Not only can I find unique gifts for myself and friends, but I also found today a "jewel" of a friend in your associate.
